What has been the biggest inspiration for your writing?
The biggest inspiration for me is music or sound. A lyric can set me on a writing binge or even the crack of lightning can put me in a paranormal mood. I love a good storm to write to.
Here’s a little bit about today’s author:
- Steele is an author with romance on the brain. She spans several romance genres from contemporary to historical to paranormal. Most of her writing is more for the over 18 crowd. Steamy romance and gorgeous men fill the words coming from her fingers.

Music is a catalyst for me as well. Anything to get my brain and my fingers in sync when I sit down to write. So happy to learn more about Victoria and her books!
I’ve talked to so many people today that use music as inspiration. If I’m writing a really romantic part I go for sappy love songs, but if it’s a more paranormal twist I go a little darker with the music. I’m glad to meet you Linda Lee Williams. Was glad to learn more about you also.
