Romancing September Across the World – Day 6 – V. Steele

Good morning everyone! I want to welcome you to the 2nd part of Day 6 of the 3rd Annual Romancing September Across the World Blog Tour. If you haven’t checked out Rosie’s post from earlier, then go by and get caught up.

Now on to today’s featured author, V. Steele

Here’s the question I asked:

What has been the biggest inspiration for your writing?

The biggest inspiration for me is music or sound. A lyric can set me on a writing binge or even the crack of lightning can put me in a paranormal mood. I love a good storm to write to.

Here’s a little bit about today’s author:

  1. Steele is an author with romance on the brain. She spans several romance genres from contemporary to historical to paranormal. Most of her writing is more for the over 18 crowd. Steamy romance and gorgeous men fill the words coming from her fingers.

But when he rides the most deadly bull in the circuit and almost gets himself killed she is forced to make a decision. Will she be able to go and help him out of his coma? After going back and forth about what she should do she finally decided that she will go help him, but as soon as he was better she would be back on a plane and back to her normal life. Will she be able to leave this time? Will he let her leave again without trying to win her back?

  1. I do enjoy reading about all the different ways authors are inspired to write.

  2. Music is a catalyst for me as well. Anything to get my brain and my fingers in sync when I sit down to write. So happy to learn more about Victoria and her books!

    • I’ve talked to so many people today that use music as inspiration. If I’m writing a really romantic part I go for sappy love songs, but if it’s a more paranormal twist I go a little darker with the music. I’m glad to meet you Linda Lee Williams. Was glad to learn more about you also.
