2016 is almost over…Bring in 2017!

It’s hard to believe that this year is almost over. But a new year brings new hope for everything, right? Well, that’s up to you…

As most of you know, I love the Christmas season and it’s sad that it’s gone, but then there’s something about a new year. It’s like you can start over and make a fresh new outlook.

For the last week, I’ve been taking my annual IRS testing and it’s had me bummed out! I took some time off from my accounting business to take a breather. It’s important to take a little time before tax season starts, but having to test most of my time off has my head spinning. Also, my word counts have suffered!

But, I have a positive outlook that I’ll finish the testing today and get back on track. Of course, it will take a couple of days to catch up with my word counts… If I don’t, my assistant might just throw something at me, like my laptop.

So, what are your thoughts on the new year coming in? Are you set to meet your goals for 2016 by midnight tomorrow night?

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…

  1. Miss you, Steph! I hope your publishing projects are going great. I’ve had some drawbacks on word count too lately, but I’m trying to stay positive and see all the things that I’ve achieved instead of all that has still to be done. Only a few edits left and I’ll have a total of three books done, fourth is in the pipeline. That’s something, isn’t it? 🙂 Have a wonderful New Year’s and a prosperous start in 2017!

    1. Hey sweet Ana! Have missed talking with you too! Life is just too busy. Four books is awesome. Keep up the great work! I’m looking forward to 2017 with a positive attitude and hopeful mind set. Have a wonderful New Year and prosperous 2017!
