I’m almost to the last chapter of my latest manuscript and it’s so exciting. But with tax season deadlines breathing down my neck, I’m snatching writing times when I can. Of course the characters are always teasing me with lines to include and different scenarios. Good thing I keep a notebook beside me all the time.
But with the busy days and late nights, I lean on my coffee time heavily. Actually, that reminds me, it’s coffee thirty. Enjoy the rest of your Thursday and live, laugh, & most especially, love…
We made it to the halfway point. Tax season is now in full swing and my work days are getting longer, which means more coffee breaks. So, here’s to a great day for all and don’t forget to grab that cup of coffee to keep the day going strong.
As I sip my afternoon coffee, I’m thinking about the last nine years of publishing my work, I have to smile. This publishing life has been the best way to get all of my craziness out of my head. In 2012 I was unsure how it would be received, but wow, it’s been such a wild, wonderful ride.
Now, don’t take this as saying it was easy, but it has been fun. So, with another sip of my coffee I say thanks for all of the wonderful friends I’ve made during this wonderful time. And I look forward to many more years, publishing, writing, and blogging.
So, here’s to more coffee thoughts in the future… Meaning, everyday…
We’re halfway to the weekend, so that’s something to smile about. Have you noticed how fast this year is already going? Or is that just me? It seems like we just said, Happy New Year, and now we’re almost to February.
With that being said, my newest release comes out tomorrow. What! Double Take at Mistletoe Ranch releases tomorrow. As I sit and sip my coffee, I’m thinking about all of the trouble Denver and Maddy have gotten themselves into. But they’ve also found the most amazing love. Their story is so sweet and I’m honored to get to be the one that brought to life.
If you’ve ever read any of the Mistletoe Ranch books, you’ll laugh, cry, and sigh as you read this last installment. It’s such a sad time as I say goodbye to Denver and Maddy, but as a writer, you never know when they might get revisited one day. Hey, stranger things have happened.
So, as you get your day started… Sip some coffee, you deserve it… Take the time to enjoy the morning… Tell someone how special they are to you… And just focus on having a wonderful day. You’ve got this, so go out there and be the best you can be.
Who doesn’t love that afternoon cup of coffee or hot tea? It’s always coffee thirty at my house and office. So, here’s to your Tuesday Coffee Break. Make it count because you have three more work days this week!
Here’s a little midday Monday Motivation. Now that lunch is over and you’re starting to get a little midday slump, grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit back to take some time to think about yourself. Maybe grab a little dark chocolate to add a little energy to your afternoon.
You’ve got this, so do a stretch and smile brightly. This is your day. You own it!
