Back to Normal…

Well, today my vacation is actually over! It was a very restful and productive vacation. My Solstice editor sent me chapters 4-13 for Tuscany and I’m almost halfway done with those edits. Also, ‘Sowing the Right Seed’ is almost complete, which makes me happy too.

Of course, when you get back to work from a week off, you need to take another vacation to get over the after vacation paperwork pile up. My emails have piled up, the mail has piled up and the appointments are filling the calendar, but that’s fine, I’m rested and ready to go.

As for my writing, things are getting exciting around here. I’m a little closer to Tuscany’s big release with Solstice Publishing. Also, I’m working on an article for Southern Writer’s Magazine that was requested for an upcoming edition. I have several projects in the works and it’s going to be a busy end of summer, start of fall for this writer.

So, how have all of you been? I’ve missed you over the last couple of weeks. Hope all is well! Here’s a peak at the view I had for vacation last week. Yes, it was hard to leave this, but as most of you know, I’m a homebody.

BeachAs always, great writing and May God Bless You…

Beach Sale!

Beach Sale

It’s summer and the time to go to the beach. If your not headed to the beach, but maybe a staycation at home, then now’s the time to fill up your Kindle. We all know that summer is our time to give back to ourselves. For me that means getting in some reading while sitting in the shade, sipping cool, sweet tea.

With that thought in mind, I’m offering a huge Beach Sale on all of my standalone e-books through Amazon. For the summer they will be .99, yes that’s right, .99. What’s a little sacrifice among friends. So head over to my Amazon author page and grab a couple or all of them before the summer ends. I might extend the sale to other sites where my books are available, but for now it’s only Amazon.

As for now, good writing, and May God Bless You…

By the way, try to stay cool!

Snowy night in Georgia!

Well the meterologists got it right. Here in Georgia we’re getting lots of snow. It’s pretty and really cold. I know those of you from the north are laughing at us southerners, but we don’t get this often. We’re definitely not prepared for it. Atlanta highways are almost closed down and the roads are iced over. As for me, I’m sitting in my cozy den with a roaring fire.

It’s a great night to write a beach scene that I’ve been working on. I’m thinking warm thoughts…..Yeah that helped thaw out my toes. I plan on sitting here and finishing the beach scene tonight. Then hopefully if my power doesn’t go out, I’ll finish the whole book tomorrow. But unfortunately I live in the country and if the ice builds on the power lines, well you know what happens, they snap. Then I’ll be down for the count. But I have plenty of pens and paper 🙂 I’ll go back to the old way of writing.

The snow is falling heavily now as the darkness takes over. It looks like diamonds falling from the sky. The ice crystals gleam in our outside spot lights. It’s simply gorgeous. But since my driveway is uphill, we’ll have to get out the 4×4 if we go anywhere out of four wheeler range.

Hope everyone is staying safe in the cold weather that’s descended from Canada.

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…
