Hideaway Lane is now available…

Good morning! It’s my favorite time of year when our tree is up, the fire is crackling and there’s a chill in the air. And of course, we’ve already gotten a little snow here in Georgia and on my birthday weekend, so that’s awesome.

My Wishful Harbor Series is something I’ve dreamed of doing for a long time and now the 2nd book in the series is out, which makes me so happy. This book is a sweet romance that is filled with mystery, old crushes, and the spirit of Christmas in a small town.

So, if you need something to read when you are sitting by your Christmas tree or even by a crackling fire, then grab a copy today. For the first-week release celebration, I’m keeping it at .99!

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…

Friday Writing …

It’s Friday and the day before a holiday here in the States. I’m like a big kid when it comes to any holiday. I enjoy the family gathering together and eating lots of food. Yes, I remember that I’m on a low calorie diet, but I get one day a week to splurge and I’m picking tomorrow. But I’ll be as good as I can 😉

This morning I’ve been working on part of the manuscript that’s a surprise. I’ve stepped into a new world with this one and I’ll give you a little, itty, bitty hint, There’s no cowboy in this one! Oh no, not a cowboy in sight. Yep it’s hard not to add some boots or Stetson to someone. But don’t worry, I’m not giving my cowboys away, not at all. I’m just trying something different, we’ll see how that goes.

Have you ever stepped out of your normal writing genre? How did it go?

I’ll be giving a little away later, but for now this is all I can give you. Exciting things are happening and this is part of it. Maybe it’ll lead to something bigger and better. We’ll just have to see.

Hope all of you have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend! Here’s an early Happy 4th of July for my fellow Americans.

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…

Monday blahs!!!

Well here is America it’s Martin Luther King Day and our Presidential Inauguration. Too much to take on a Monday. My son is out of school for the holiday. I wish I could take today off, but as I’m an accountant this is busy time sooooo:(

It’s not all bad though. I did get to sleep in this morning:) That’s a plus. Of course for me sleeping in is 7:30. My body automatically wakes up with the sun. Sometimes that can be annoying. It would be nice to sleep until after 8. Oh well, life goes on.

Hope this post finds everyone well. I’ve been trying to finish my latest novel. Spend a good bit of Saturday night working on it. I’m pleased with it so far. Hopefully the edits will be completed soon. I’m not saying when because that could jinx it.

Burrr!!!!!

Well the snow missed up in central Georgia last night. But we did get an arctic blast. It’s 29 degrees on my thermometer this morning. It was definitely a brisk walk to my office this morning.

It’s one of those mornings when I’d love to stay curled up by the fire either writing or reading. But it’s that time of year for us accountants. I have five hundred things to complete before the IRS releases us at the starting line.

Hope everyone has a great Friday. By the way, yes it’s Friday and my son is out of school Monday for the MLK Holiday, so we will be sleeping in. Looking forward to a 3 day weekend, well somewhat of one. I don’t have the luxury of taking the whole day off Monday. I might lounge around in my pjs a little longer than normal Monday 🙂

As always, good writing and May God bless you!
