Organizing your writing…

I know how hard it is to organize things. Believe me when I say, time is precious. So, that’s why organization is important. Here’s how I set up my 2019 writing schedule.

Over the years I’ve tried to organize my writing schedule and I always overdid it. My expectations were way over what I could manage. I didn’t leave any working room, so if something happened and I got off schedule, well, the whole schedule was off. But this time, I gave myself some breathing room.

Now, don’t think I won’t be writing everyday, because I will, but my word counts are smaller and the deadlines are a little longer. It helps to keep me on task. And on top of that, it helps that my assistant knows my busy schedule, so she made sure I didn’t overdo it.

So, now I’m scheduled all the way through August 2019. The funny thing is, now I have a little extra time to post here and keep up with my promotions. It’s a win-win!

So, how do you keep up with your writing?

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…

P.S.: With my schedule done, I have several preorders coming up, starting with this one:

It’s the last book in the Sky Ridge Series and you don’t want to miss it…

Saturday Cover Reveal!

Wow! The sun is shining this morning. It inspires me to have the sun coming in through the window as I write. I guess you could say it brightens my mind.

Since Breakwater Lane is on its final edit before release day, I’m working on the 2nd book of the Sky Ridge Series. The first book in the series did well and continues to do well in the charts. I’m excited to get book two out as it continues the story.

Here’s the beautiful cover that my cover designer made and I must say, I want to be there it’s so beautiful!

Promises Forgotten front cover

This series is full of sweet romance and drama. It’s a clean read, so if you like a clean romance where you can fall in love with the characters, then this is the one for you… But I suggest that you read Promises Made first. Promises Forgotten will be out soon, but I’ll keep you posted as soon as the release date is set!

Hope all is well with you this weekend and that you’re getting in some writing or reading whichever is your pleasure. As for me, it’s writing and a bit of reading. I have to keep my mind flowing you know.

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…

Series Emblem Reveal…

It’s Wednesday and I feel alive! What about you? Have you smiled this morning? As I write this, I can’t help but smile. Why you might ask? Well, I’m doing a small reveal today, which is exciting.

When you create a series, sometimes you create an emblem that represents that series. Well, when I created the Wishful Harbor Series, I wanted a special emblem and my awesome design team went to work to make sure that the dream I had for this series came to life. Of course, I’m not revealing the covers yet, just the emblem, for now…

So, I’d like to introduce you to the Wishful Harbor Series!

Luke – on his way

Luke front cover

I finished Luke yesterday, well the first draft. Now on to the read through and embellishment process. Oh the fun times of a writer. I have to admit that sometimes the embellishing can be quite fun.

Luke’s story was the toughest of all the Five oak Ranch books. Now to the one I’m really looking forward to, Maggie. I look forward to writing in the female perspective again. If you’ve read the first three, then you know they were from the man’s perspective. Writing a man’s perspective is interesting to say the least.

Maggie is almost two complete chapters in after only two hours work. Yeah, I’d say her story is going well. This will be an exciting story of secret love, family drama and romance flowing freely. This may be the best on yet. Can’t wait to get deeper in the story and yes I have it outlined so that’s why I’m so excited to fill in the blanks.

As always, good writing and May God Bless You…
