Good Monday morning! This picture makes me feel all cozy and Christmasy! Yes, I know, that’s not a word, but it’s a feeling. So, who likes a Christmas Romance.
Ok, so who doesn’t love a great love story with the warm, fuzzy feeling and don’t forget the Happily Ever After… I’m a big sap for all the Christmas movies on right now. Even those I’ve seen every year, I still watch them every year. It’s just something I love and it makes my Christmas spirit soar through the roof.
Now, as for writing Christmas romance there is no set way to do it, but it needs a happy ending. I read Christmas romances all year long, but some people only read them at this time of year. Why? Well, some are superstitious and others say that they can only get into them when it’s the season. But not me.
My Christmas romance that was published a month ago inspired me to be more joyful this year. It is filled with the Christmas spirit. As I wrote it, the weather outside was hot and humid, nowhere near Christmas weather, but I channeled my mind to think it was cold outside. A couple of times while I was writing it, I drank hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows (how else would you drink it).
